Watcher Elo is a public leaderboard that publishes skill ratings and rankings for competitive Riftbound players. The Site does not require an account. You can browse the ladder, player profiles, and search without signing in, and we do not ask you to provide personal information to use it.

Information automatically collected

• Device and browser information: Browser type and version, operating system, screen size, language, and approximate region, collected through PostHog analytics.
• Usage analytics: Pages you view and how you interact with the Site, including navigation, clicks, and app-install link clicks, collected through PostHog.
• Search queries: The text you type into player search, together with how many results were returned and which result you open. We use this to improve search and to see which players people look for.
• Error and performance data: Technical information about errors, crashes, and performance, collected through Sentry. This may include your IP address and request details.
• IP address and server logs: Processed by our hosting provider for routing, delivery, and security. IP addresses are processed transiently and are not used to build a long-term profile of you.

The Site has no sign-up or login, so we do not collect account details. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the contents of your message so that we can respond.

Player ranking data we publish

Watcher Elo displays competitive Riftbound results from official events, including player names or aliases, ratings, ranks, win/loss records, and rating history over time. This information originates from official event results and is published so the community can follow the competitive ladder. We rely on our legitimate interest in providing a transparent competitive ranking (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The Site does not use cookies and does not store analytics identifiers on your device. Our analytics provider, PostHog, is configured in a cookieless, memory-only mode, so analytics state exists only in your browser's memory for the current visit and is discarded when you close or reload the page. Strictly necessary technical data, such as the server logs used by our hosting provider to deliver and secure the Site, is processed regardless, but it is not used to track you across sites.
